Meet Shaunet...

 Shaunet Ellis is a gifted and versatile vocalist whose range spans from second soprano to first alto, with the dynamic ability to reach into first soprano territory. Her musical journey began at the tender age of two, when her mother recognized a voice that carried something truly special. Raised in the church, Shaunet’s gift was cultivated in worship settings where her sound quickly distinguished her from her peers.

Shaunet serves as a worship leader at Speaking Spirit Ministries in Richmond, VA under the awesome leadership of Pastors Fred and Inger Wyatt . She also serves as a consultant and one of the worship leaders at Empowerment Temple in Waverly, VA under the gracious leadership of Pastors Terrence and Tanisha Green. 

Her heart for God and for people fuels her purpose, which is to uplift and inspire through music, a listening ear, and helpful hand. Whether leading worship on Sunday mornings, singing in intimate gatherings, or offering options to solve a problem, Shaunet finds deep fulfillment in using her voice to meet people where they are by celebrating their highs, comforting them through lows, and reminding them of God's unwavering presence.

Throughout her journey, Shaunet has been blessed with opportunities to share the stage with some of music’s most respected voices. Still, she counts her greatest honor not in accolades or platforms, but in being a vessel of worship. For Shaunet, being a worshipper is more than a title; it’s a lifestyle that reflects her intimate relationship with God and her calling to pour back into His people.

Shaunet is the third of four children born to Mr. Samuel and Mrs. Corlis Ellis. While she does not have children of her own, she cherishes a special bond with her nieces and nephews, who fill her heart with joy and love. To her, they are like her own and she embraces that role with pride and devotion.
